Wind EHS Senior Lean Leader
The Wind EHS Senior Lean Leader reports to Wind EHS Leader and drives continuous improvement across one or more functional areas. In this role, you will work closely with Wind functional leaders to develop and drive Lean roadmaps, lead continuous improvement efforts, and deliver large-scale SQDC outcomes.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Partner with functional leaders to translate strategic vision into objectives and goals with an effective operating rhythm.
- Lead Senior Leaders through the Hoshin Kanri process to establish breakthroughs.
- Design and implement a Lean Management System integral to how we run our business for the long-term. This system will include Lean principles, Hoshin-Kanri, daily management metrics, and complex problem-solving.
- Build organizational capability and culture through coaching/mentoring on Lean mindset, tools, and practices.
- Lead business transformation priorities supporting continuous improvement and optimization of end-to-end processes.
- Drive the development, execution, and sustainment of standard work.
- Partner with functional leaders to optimize monthly operating rhythms, ensure daily management, and proactive identification of risk to KPIs & business outcomes.
- Lead problem solving with Lean tools & practices (i.e. fishbone diagrams, problem solving reviews, etc.) to resolve complex challenges.
- Drive actions to ensure that improvements are sustained and lessons learned are integrated into processes.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in continuous improvement, project management, operations, and/or related experience.
- Minimum of 5 year's experience with leading Lean activities, applying Lean tools, and building Lean culture.
- Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and successful change management.
- Ability and willingness to travel 50%+.
