Networking Engineer- Wi-Fi10 years experience is idealAccess points, engg work, work on road map, certifying new software, test cases, 5G, engg. Ruckus, cisco, juniper-tier one or two, strong fundamentals.Seeking a candidate to manage day to day lab activities supporting Wi-Fi offload. Wi-Fi 5 and 6 technologies are leveraged to offload data for Spectrum Mobile subscribers, as well for MDU and Enterprise specialty use cases. These access points are used in many indoor and outdoor use cases (Out-Of-Home, In-Home, Enterprise, SMB, MDU, etc). This position would focus on Enterprise class Wi-Fi solutions which includes physical and virtual controller software, outboard metric collection telemetry solutions, next generation authentication software, and other functions to enable the overall offload experience.Experience with initial setup, advanced configuration, troubleshooting, operating, and documenting at least one major Enterprise Wi-Fi vendor.

Experience with virtualization (VMWare vSphere) and onboarding, configurating, and troubleshooting virtual appliances Network Administration knowledge (CCNA level - solid Layer 2 - 4 fundamentals) Ability to capture network traffic and analyze to assist in determining root cause Participating with weekly vendor meetings to review known issues and road map sessions Knowledge of modern Wi-Fi access point capabilities (Wi-Fi 6 / AX)Required Skills: Basic Qualification: Additional Skills: Background Check: Yes Candidate must be your W2 Employee: No Interview Process: Additional Keywords: Degree Requirements: Certification Requirement: CCNA certification is preferred Minimum Experience (In Years): 80.
