WI Democratic Gubernatorial Campaign: Press SecretaryA Democratic gubernatorial campaign is seeking a Press Secretary for the 2026 election cycle in the battleground state of Wisconsin. The Press Secretary will be a key member of the communications department, and they will work directly with the principal WI press corps.Duties include, but are not limited to:Build and maintain strong relationships with members of the WI press corps, serving as the primary point of contact for in-state mediaAccompany and advise the candidate on the campaign trail, providing direct strategic supportCoordinate and execute campaign media events, including planning logistics, preparing materials, and staffing the candidate and surrogatesDraft and edit press releases, talking points, memos, and other internal and external communications materials to advance the campaign's messageProactively pitch interviews and stories to highlight the campaign's message and prioritiesServe as an on-the-record spokesperson representing the campaignPerform additional duties as assigned to support the campaignQualifications:At least two cycles of experience in campaign-based communications work, or an equivalentExperience and comfort working directly with reportersExcellent written and verbal communication skillsOrganizational skills that allow you to multitask and prioritize projects on a deadline
