Job Overview A law firm seeks a highly qualified associate to join its White Collar Defense and Internal Investigations Group in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 6 years of experience in white collar and/or related commercial litigation, with a focus on government and internal investigations.
Duties
- Represent corporate and individual clients in complex litigation and investigations.
- Engage in trial and appellate practice in local, state, and federal courts.
- Conduct thorough legal research and draft persuasive legal documents.
- Collaborate with a team of skilled attorneys to develop case strategies.
Requirements
- 3 to 6 years of experience in white collar and/or commercial litigation.
- Experience with government and internal investigations preferred.
- Admission to the New York bar is required.
- Exceptional academic credentials and superior research, writing, and argument skills.
- Clerkship and courtroom experience are strongly preferred.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Certifications
- Admission to the New York State Bar.
