To support a growing closed-door pharmacy, the full-time salaried West Virginia Licensed Staff Pharmacist will verify prescriptions, provide patient counseling via phone, and collaborate with prescribers to ensure safe medication dispensing in a remote environment. Key responsibilities: Review and clinically verify new and refill prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness Provide proactive patient counseling calls and handle inbound clinical inquiries Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards Required qualifications: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy Active West Virginia Pharmacy License in good standing Demonstrated ability to perform high-volume prescription verification with attention to detail Strong technical aptitude for pharmacy management systems and verification platforms Bilingual Spanish preferred for patient counseling
