PMC consists of over 130 providers, approximately 750 employees, and 16 locations.Position Summary The Wellness Program Assistant is responsible for assisting the Wellness and Chronic Care Management Departments with clerical needs.Schedules patient appointments in a professional, businesslike and courteous manner in accordance with the Clinic and program policies and procedures.Maintains and coordinates the health coach's schedules, having a thorough knowledge of program components and practices.Answers telephones and returns calls in a timely manner, taking messages, handling requests and providing accurate information as necessary.Handles mail, paperwork via fax, and medical records, assuring accuracy and completeness.Screens patients and visitors as needed.Inquire on wellness benefits available to patients with commercial insurance.Assures patients are processed in a timely, courteous, and helpful manner.Assists with various reporting needs associated with the ACO.Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications Education (Including Licenses and Certifications): High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
