- Job Title: Welding Superintendent
- Pay Rate: $40-$55/hr
- Location: Dallas, TX
- Employment Type: Full-Time / Direct Hire
- Schedule: 7am start time, Monday through Friday

SCOPE OF WORK
- Lead welding foremen, craft professionals, and subcontractors, assigning daily tasks and monitoring workforce productivity
- Enforce strict job site safety rules, conduct safety meetings, and ensure compliance with industry standards like AWS, ASME, and API
- Oversee weld inspections, non-destructive testing (NDT), and adherence to approved welding procedure specifications (WPS)
- Align welding schedules with construction sequencing, manage materials and consumables, and resolve technical setbacks
- Conduct quality control and ensure compliance with project specifications
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 5 years of experience required
- Must complete ladder and fall protection safety (CCS will provide)
- 7+ years in industrial welding operations, including 3 to 5 years in leadership or supervisory roles
- Deep expertise in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and understanding code books (ASME, AWS D1.1, etc.)
- Preferred credentials include Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or AWS Certified Welding Supervisor
- Strong decision-making, conflict resolution, and cross-functional communication abilities
- Experience leading hydronic piping crews on the welding side
