Looking for a hands-on quality opportunity with a stable manufacturer where you can continue growing your inspection skills and certifications?
We're hiring a Quality Inspector to support quality within a steel fabrication environment. You'll work directly with production inspecting welded and fabricated products, identifying quality issues, and ensuring finished products meet customer and industry standards.
What You'll Do
- Inspect welded and fabricated steel products
- Perform visual weld inspections to AWS D1.1 standards
- Complete dimensional inspections and verify drawings/specifications
- Identify and document nonconforming material
- Support UT and MT inspections
- Work directly with production to resolve quality issues
- Maintain inspection and quality documentation
What We're Looking For
- Experience in quality inspection, welding, fabrication, structural steel, or a related manufacturing environment
- Experience inspecting welds
- Ability to read blueprints and use standard measuring tools
- Familiarity with AWS D1.1
- Experience working with DOT requirements
- CWI, UT, or MT certifications are a plus, but not required
