The Welders and Fitters will play a crucial role in manufacturing, maintenance, and repair projects by performing welding and fitting tasks with precision. They will work closely with blueprints and metal fabrication processes to ensure quality and safety standards are met throughout machinery setup and equipment maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Perform welding and fitting according to project specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints for accurate fabrication
- Fabricate metal components to required standards
- Inspect welded and fitted work for quality assurance
- Set up machinery and equipment for project tasks
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures
- Maintain welding and fitting equipment in good working order
Mon-Fri. 4hours a day $20-$25/hr
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in welding and fitting
- Welding Certification such as AWS
- Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques
- Strong blueprint interpretation skills
- Knowledge of metal cutting and fabrication techniques
- Experience operating hand tools relevant to welding and fitting
