Read below for more information!What you’ll do as a welder:Read and interpret blueprints and customer specifications to understand product requirementsSet up and weld aluminum components using MIG, TIG, and other welding processes as neededInspect finished welds using measuring and inspection equipment to ensure quality standards are metGrind, de-bur, and finish components to achieve required surface specificationsPerform basic equipment repairs and preventive maintenance as neededMaintain a clean, organized workspace while following safety procedures and 5S principlesLoad and unload materials and shipments using appropriate equipment when requiredWhat you need to bring to the welder role:High school diploma or GED equivalentPrevious welding experience preferred; MIG and TIG experience is a plusAbility to obtain welding certifications as requiredAbility to read blueprints, drawings, and work instructionsStrong attention to detail and ability to inspect parts to customer specificationsBasic math, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environment and participate in additional training as neededWhy you’ll like working with Doherty Staffing Solutions:Enjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
