There are many necessary activities to satisfy any of the following performance guidelines.Practice and promote a safe work environment throughout the entire facilityRead and interpret customer blueprint specifications to understand product requirementsDetermine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirementsSet up components for welding according to order specificationsWeld components efficiently and safely using various welding equipment Perform MIG, TIG and other types of weld based on project needsKeep work area clean and orderly using 5S systemConduct all processes and procedures in accordance with department key measuresEnsure all quality practices are being followed accurately and efficientlyCommunicate Alexandria Industries' requirements and capabilities with vendors and customersRead and analyze customer blueprint specifications to understand product requirementsUse necessary measurement equipment to test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to ensure that parts extruded meet customer specificationsConduct simple repairs on equipment and machinery as neededConduct preventive maintenance on equipment in order to ensure safety, quality and efficiencyDe-bur and grind components as needed to achieve precise surface textureLoad and unload trucks in the most cost efficient way for deliveries and shipmentsMinimum Qualifications:Education: High School diploma or equivalent degreeExperience: 3-5years of Aluminum TIG and MIG welding experience preferredLicensing Required: NoneOther required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to obtain welding certifications as neededAbility to recognize safety concernsAbility to utilize the proper inspection equipment per designated areaA highly motivated self-starterStrong coordination and judgment skillsBasic math skillsAbility to read die drawings and inspect parts and surface finish according to customer specificationsAbility to effectively work in a team environmentAbility to take part in additional training as neededAbility to perform and assist with preventive maintenanceStrong communication skills, problem solver, multi-taskerAbility to properly identify materialsStrong attention to detailKnowledge of different kinds of metal and their propertiesBenefitsA.I.
