LayerZero Power Systems is on a trajectory of sustained growth, with a loyal customer base of existing Fortune 100 customers and an expanding portfolio of new customers.Position Description: Manual Welder at LayerZero Power Systems, LLC. will be responsible for inspecting, building, welding, and testing fabricated assemblies for use in LayerZero Power Systems, LLC. products. This role will effectively manage all equipment maintenance and upkeep.
The manual welder must demonstrate welding and inspection knowledge that allows them to work from general instructions, shop drawings, blueprints, and diagrams. LayerZero Power Systems, LLC. is looking for someone with strong attention to detail, communication skills, and great concentration to join our team.Primary Duties:Analyze and read blueprints and drawings and ensure they meet the desired measurementsSetting up, operating, and maintaining welding equipmentSelecting appropriate materials and welding methods based on requirementsLearning multiple types of welding and test equipmentAdhere to safety standards and protocols in the workplaceUse necessary controls for weld parameter adjustmentsAlign components using calipers, tape measures, and other tools as well as jigs, fixtures, and clampsPerform visual examination of weldsStanding, bending, and kneeling for extended periods of timeTroubleshootingExperience & Skills:Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures preferredExperience in using electrical or manual tools preferredBasic understanding of manufacturing prints and productsBasic computer skillsEducation:High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school preferred.Why Join Us?
