We are looking to hire a Welder for our Large Bearing Manufacturing and Repair area at our Warren, OH location.
Experience and skills will determine level and pay rate. Day Shift: 50 hour workweek - Monday-Friday, Some Saturdays based on production demandsResponsibilities:Performs TIG welding processes on steel parts using welding metals and metal alloys to assemble large roller bearingsWelds parts according to engineering drawings and specificationsUses air arc equipment to cut and disassemble components under general supervisionCleans and prepares surfaces to be weldedPerforms minimal assembly workOther work may be assigned at Management's discretionCandidates will have opportunities to develop additional skills through cross-training in bearing inspection, grinding, and light CNC machiningExperience/Education/Skills/Certifications:High School Diploma or EquivalentTIG welding experience preferred.
Experience welding carbon steel, alloy steel, or precision components is highly desirableOverhead crane and forklift experience preferredCertification not required; training may be provided for qualified candidatesAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to stand, bend, and work in a manufacturing environment for extended periodsIn-house training providedDriver's licensePrimetals Technologies offers a full range of benefits starting with first day of employment.
