This position is responsible for fabricating and assembling metal products by interpreting technical drawings, fitting components together, and producing quality welds that meet production and customer standards.Responsibilities will include:Welding carbon steel and other materials using MIG and TIG welding techniques.Interpreting blueprints, shop drawings, and production documentation to complete fabrication projects.Positioning, aligning, and securing components prior to welding.Building and using fixtures, jigs, and worktables to support assembly processes.Verifying part dimensions and quality using tape measures, calipers, gauges, and other inspection tools.Operating a variety of fabrication equipment, hand tools, and power tools.Completing fabrication work according to production schedules and established quality standards.Preparing completed assemblies for movement to the next production stage or shipping.Welding positions are available on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift. Pay ranges from $23/hour – $31/hour based on experience with shift differentials offered for off shifts.
