WelderJoin Komatsu and be part of something big! We are seeking experienced heavy industrial welders/fabricators to support the fabrication and repair of large mining components, including dippers (buckets). This role is critical to our operation—precision, quality, and adherence to OEM specifications are essential. This is a hands-on position for welders who thrive in high-standard, heavy mechanical environments and take pride in building and repairing complex equipment that must meet strict engineering requirements.

This is an hourly night time temp-to-hire position. Hours vary, and currently are 10 - 12 hour days Monday to Friday, and 10 hours on Saturday.Key job responsibilities include:Perform required duties safelyWork overtime (70 hrs. a week) including weekendsWork in confined spacesRead and interpret structural drawingsRead and interpret engineering drawings and blueprintsPrep materials and components for fabrication and weldingFabricate and weld large mining components, including repairs of dippers/bucketsWelder a 332 wireOccasionally travel to mine sites to support field work (approximately 25% of the time)Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamworkQualifications/requirements include:Ability to work nightsMSHA certification a plusClean background checkAbility to pass respirator fit testAbility to pass 3G and 4G weld testMSHA certification a plusDiversity & inclusion commitment: At Komatsu we come from diverse backgrounds, with unique perspectives, experiences, and contributions.
