This position requires skill in interpreting blueprints, fabricating materials to specification, and ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.What You'll DoRead and understand blueprints and drawings prior to starting projectsSource materials needed to complete assigned workMeasure and cut materials to precise specificationsInspect finished work to ensure it meets tolerances outlined in prints or drawingsUse necessary tools and equipment to perform metal fabrication tasksSafely use cutting torches, heating, and burning equipmentSafely operate saws, grinders, presses, and other fabrication toolsFollow instructions and complete assigned work efficientlyLift a minimum of 50 pounds as required for job dutiesThis job summary is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by individuals assigned to this position.
