You are ensuring that all welding activities are performed with precision, accuracy, and adherence to company standards.

You are maintaining a strong focus on safety, craftsmanship, and productivity while supporting continuous improvement across the production environment.As a welder, you will be responsible for:Reviewing drawings and instructions to understand welding requirementsPrioritizing work orders to meet production schedulesPerforming layouts and preparing materials for weldingPositioning, aligning, and fitting components together accuratelyBolting, clamping, and tack-welding parts to secure them for final weldingSetting up equipment and welding parts using manual and automatic welding toolsEnsuring all work is completed safely and in compliance with manufacturing proceduresPerforming additional duties as assigned based on workload and business needsTo be successful in this role you will have:Have a high school diploma or GEDHave a welding certificate from a college or technical school, or equivalent experienceHave at least 6 months of TIG & MIG welding experienceHave the ability to read and interpret blueprintsHave intermediate math and reading skillsHave the ability to safely operate industrial equipment including manual welders, MIG, TIG, automatic welders, plasma cutters, and cutting torchesHave the ability to meet company QA welder qualifications (NADCAP certification)Have strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, accuracy, and safetyHave the ability to follow all manufacturing procedures and company policiesHave strong time-management skills and the ability to stay on taskHave a positive attitude and the ability to work well with peers, supervisors, management, and external representativesPhysical requirementsMotor skills sufficient to safely operate required tools and machineryVisual acuity of 20/30 or better, ability to read the Jaeger No. 2 chart at 16 inches, and satisfactory performance on the Ishihara color test (natural or corrected vision acceptable; tested annually at company expense)Ability to stand and/or walk for most of an 8–10-hour shift, with additional hours as needed for overtimeAbility to lift to 50 pounds as requiredAbility to wear required PPE including safety glasses and safety shoesReasonable accommodation may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.Work in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
