Job Title: Sheet Metal Welder
Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Welder to fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment using welders, cutters, shapers, and measuring tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and a proven track record of producing high-quality work.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine welding requirements.
- Set up and operate welding equipment according to welding procedures.
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Maintain welding equipment and tools.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Welder
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques and processes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Proficient with welding equipment and tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift heavy objects.
- Excellent communication skills
