Job PostingPrimary Responsibilities:Day-to-day production, welding and fabrication activitiesFollow and enforce company safety policies and safe work practices at all times to ensure safety of self and othersEstablish priorities and accepts responsibility for efficiently welding and fabrication of materialsInspects and verifies all aspects of the material (grade, size, quantity, measurements, etc.) when welding & fabricating. Reports discrepancies or quality issues to SupervisorScrutinize customer requirements and special instructions to ensure compliance and customer satisfactionFollow all audit and material traceability proceduresInspect and operate all related equipment (forklifts, etc.) in accordance with company and safety guidelinesConducts self in a cooperative, safe, productive and team-oriented manner with supervisors, managers, and employeesPhysical & Work Requirements:Working in a yard or fabrication facility within OSHA guidelines; conditions may be heated and/or unheated, dusty and noisy; steel-toed boots required dailyMust possess the ability to work a flexible schedule.Fast-paced moderately stressful, constantly changing day to day work environmentAbility to stand, walk, or be mobile for a minimum of eight hours per shift. Capable of ascending and descending material handling equipmentAbility to lift up to 51 pounds as needed.
