JOB DUTIES:
- Read engineering documents such as prints, routing, and process instructions to weld carbon, stainless, aluminum, and other alloys
- MIG and TIG welding
- Assemble part using proper tools/techniques/fixtures
- Proper handling of measurement tools and completing inspection reports
- Attention to Weld QA (finishes, distortion, etc.)
- Forward welded parts to next operation
- Fill out scrap report
- Maintain all equipment in good operating condition
- Track progress in ERP software
- Always keep work area neat, clean and safe
- Safely perform all responsibilities and in adherence to company policy
- Maintain good attendance
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficient with in position (benchtop) and turntable welding
- Ability to set up MIG and TIG preferable
- Robot welding experience a plus
- Proficiently use inspection tools
- Attention to detail
- Computer knowledge
- Walk and stand for entire shift
- Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted
