Welder$21-$29/hr / 1st shift / Benefits / OT AvailableThis role focuses on performing high-quality MIG, TIG, and flux core welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals while accurately interpreting blueprints and drawings. You ensure all work meets welding quality standards and is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established procedures and specifications.ResponsibilitiesPerform MIG, TIG, and flux core welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals according to project requirements and specifications.Interpret and follow blueprints, drawings, and technical schematics to complete fabrication and welding tasks accurately.Set up, operate, and adjust welding equipment, including computerized welding systems, to achieve precise and consistent welds.Execute metal fabrication tasks such as cutting, fitting, and assembling components prior to welding.Apply brazing techniques as required to join metals and complete assemblies.Follow welding safety standards and practices at all times, including proper use of personal protective equipment and safe operation of tools and machinery.Inspect welds and fabricated components to ensure they meet quality control procedures and project standards.Identify and correct welding defects or inconsistencies to maintain high-quality workmanship.Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring equipment is properly stored, maintained, and ready for use.Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and project deadlines.Essential SkillsHands-on experience with MIG and TIG welding, and/or flux core welding in a fabrication environment.Ability to read, interpret, and work from blueprints, drawings, and technical schematics.Experience working with stainless steel, aluminum, and other metal fabrication processes.Solid understanding of welding safety practices and safe operation of welding equipment.Proficiency in using welding tools and equipment, including computerized welding systems.Knowledge of welding quality control procedures and standards.Brazing experience for joining metals and completing assemblies.Additional Skills & QualificationsCertification from a welding program or institute.Familiarity with a variety of welding processes including MIG, TIG, and flux core.Strong attention to detail and ability to produce clean, consistent welds.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fabrication or production setting.Why Work Here?Employees benefit from competitive compensation, comprehensive healthcare coverage, vision and dental benefits, and a 401(k) plan to support long-term financial security.
