Tomorrow, you're on a stainless job headed for a waste processing line. At ISC Manufacturing, that variety is the norm. We engineer and fabricate equipment for Agriculture, Mining, Aggregates, Construction, Waste Processing, and Conveying-complex builds that demand craftsmanship and consistency.
Your missionOwn the process from print to final bead. You'll prep, fit, and weld parts in all positions-horizontal, vertical, and overhead-on carbon and stainless from 14 gauge to 4"+. You'll work safely, keep your gear in top condition, communicate clearly, and help the team hit deadlines and budgets.
How you'll do it- Read and interpret blueprints/drawings ; stage components to tight tolerances
- Prep with angle grinders, drill presses, handheld plasma, oxy-fuel torch, and an ironworker
- Lay down quality welds using GMAW (.035, .045), FCAW (.045, 1/16"), and .035/.LSI stainless wire
- Tackle occasional elevated work (12'+) using ladders or a boom lift
- Assemble with wrenches and hand tools before/after welding to ensure a clean fit-up
- Rig and lift heavy, odd-shaped parts with forklifts and overhead cranes-safely and effectively
- 2+ years of MIG experience and solid FCAW capability
- High school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license
- Experience in similar settings (screw conveyors, bucket elevators, mixers, heavy equipment fabrication)
- Accurate tape-measure reading and blueprint comprehension (AWS D1.1 awareness a plus)
- Comfort with CNC-cut and manually formed parts, layout, and fitting
- PPE-forward mindset (face shield, gloves, etc.) with strict adherence to safety standards
- Detail-focused, dependable, self-driven, collaborative, and quality obsessed
- Lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Stand/walk up to 10 hours per day
- Frequently squat/kneel, bend/stoop, crawl, twist/turn, grasp, push, reach overhead and outward
- MIG Welder and Flux-Cored Arc Welder
- Bring your basics: squares, tape measure, levels, welding hood, layout tools
- Hydraulic shear and press brake experience
- Part assembly background
- TIG welding exposure
- Certifications (helpful, not required)
- Must pass a welding test before hire
- AWS D1.1 certification test after hire
- 30-90 day probation period
