Job Description Job Description Welder / Fabricator Needed Hey there! We are looking for a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our client's crew. What You'll Be Doing:
- Reading blueprints and fitting up metal parts to spec
- Welding & fabricating components (stick, MIG, TIG-whatever the job calls for)
- Plasma cutting-yep, you'll be using a plasma cutter, so experience is a must
- Making sure everything is square, level, and meets quality before moving on
- Helping troubleshoot problems in fit-ups or welds when things don't go exactly like the drawings
- When needed, leading or helping others: prior lead/floor supervisor experience is a plus
- Must be an early riser: 1st shift, 5:00 AM - 2:00 PM - if you like sleeping in, this isn't the one
- Solid plasma cutting skills
- Good with blueprints & fabrication fit-ups
- Detail oriented + pride in making things right (no cutting corners)
- If you've led a small team or run jobs before, even better
- Able to keep pace, safe, and with good stamina (fab work is physical)
