Welder (Entry-Level)Midway Staffing is hiring Entry Level Welders for a manufacturing facility in Mesquite, TX. On the job training will be provided for motivated individuals who meet the basic qualifications.Location: Mesquite, TX, 75149 Shift: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday–Thursday (Fridays as needed) Pay Rate: $15.00/hourDuties and Responsibilities:Fabricate new or replacement metal parts and components for productionAssemble component parts using hand tools and small power toolsPerform first piece and in-process inspections; make adjustments as needed to meet specifications and quality standardsEnsure accurate machine operationAssist with equipment changeoversRequired Skills and Abilities:Ability to read and interpret welding symbols and terminologyAbility to read and follow weldment assembly drawingsStrong understanding of proper welding proceduresGood hand-eye coordination and steady handsPhysical strength and staminaBasic math skills; ability to read and understand blueprintsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsSelf-motivated with the ability to work independentlyCommitment to workplace safetyAbility to meet tight deadlines while maintaining professionalismPhysical Requirements and Working Conditions:This position requires moderate walking, standing, climbing, lifting, and carrying, as well as frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching. Work is performed around machinery with moving parts, moving objects, or vehicles. Exposure to heat, cold, dampness, humidity, and uneven or slippery surfaces is expected.
