- Perform MIG welding on steel components and structural assemblies
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings
- Measure, cut, and fit metal pieces prior to welding
- Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications
- Operate angle grinders, plasma cutters, and other fabrication equipment
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with safety standards
- Collaborate with fabricators and shop leads to meet production deadlines
- Proven experience in MIG welding in a steel or metal fabrication setting
- Ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, and shop drawings
- Familiarity with steel fabrication tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to weld quality
- Ability to stand, lift, and work in physically demanding conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Welding certification or vocational training is a plus
