You'll be:Assembling multiple pieces of sheet metal using MIG and/or TIG welders to create complete assembliesTack/welding metal parts together using welding machines while following production drawingsUsing measuring tools such as calipers and tape measures to ensure accuracyReporting unresolved shortages, job status, and needed drawing corrections to your supervisorCompleting daily parts assembly lists and following standard shop practicesDetecting and reporting mechanical defects of assemblies and raw materialMaintaining a clean and safe work area and adhering to all safety protocolsPerforming any additional duties as assigned by your supervisor or managementThis job might be an outstanding fit if you:Have a High School Diploma or equivalent (required)Bring at least 5 years of welding experience, including proficiency with MIG and TIG weldingAre a certified welder for a minimum of 2 years (required)Can read and interpret production assembly drawings and work instructionsAre skilled in using hand and portable power tools, measuring tape (to 1/16"), calipers, and other fabrication equipmentCan perform basic math calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) with whole numbers and fractionsAre comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to dust, noise, moving machinery, and varying temperaturesCan lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. and spend the majority of your shift walking, bending, and stoopingAre able to attain forklift and overhead crane certification within two weeks of employment, if requiredPossess clear written and spoken English communication skillsWhat happens nextOnce you apply, you'll proceed to next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
