We're hiring an experienced Welder for 2nd shift for a industrial client in the Tomball, TX area. This is a hands-on pipe welding and fitting position with real potential to convert to a long-term or direct-hire role for the right candidates.What You'll Be Doing
- Fit and weld carbon steel pipe to project specifications
- Perform MIG and Flux Core welding on pipe and structural components
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fitting specs
- Fit pipe sections accurately prior to welding
- Maintain quality and safety standards on every job
- Work early morning hours in an industrial/field environment
What You Need
- Proven experience in both carbon steel pipe welding AND fitting - this is a dual-skill role, not welding or fitting alone
- Proficiency in MIG and Flux Core welding
- Ability to read blueprints and fit pipe to spec
- Must pass a 3G coupon weld test and a fit test prior to being hired on
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work a 5:00 AM start time, Monday-Friday
