Brief Description:
Liaisons support the mission of Fuller Theological Seminary to assist prospective students, current students, graduates and guests in exploring Fuller Seminary's graduate programs and offices through multiple communication avenues including in-person, phone, email, chat, mail, and event interactions. They offer gracious customer service to and help guests navigate their visit, connecting them to the correct office and helping all feel welcome.
Essential Functions:
- Contribute to a hospitable environment by providing exceptional customer service by establishing the "first-face" of Fuller
- Respond to in-person, email, telephone, Snap Engage Chat, online, and mail inquiries
- Assist customers navigate the processes of Admissions, Registrar and Advising offices
- Advise a diverse group of prospective students regarding various degrees, programs, and purposes, recommending programs compatible with various personal interests, and ascertaining high prospects
- Input data into SRM, Google Calendars, and manage website content
- Initiate and strengthen relationships with various departments and professors on campus in relation to position's tasks
- Give campus tours
- Work campus and virtual events as needed
- Assist with duties including filing, mail, and other tasks
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree required
- 1-2 years customer service experience
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Self-starter with a desire for teamwork
- Proficiency with Word applications and E-mail
- Proficiency with web applications (i.e. Snap Engage)
- Basic website development skills a plus
- Ability to type 45+ words per minute is preferred
- Enthusiasm for Fuller and a strong motivation to serve the needs of a diverse prospective student body including a large International population
- Must be a Fuller student, eligible for Federal Work-study
- Must be willing to abide by Fuller Community Standards
- This is an on-campus position and expected to work out of the Pasadena, CA campus.
- Hourly rate the seminary expects to pay: $19.00 per hour USD
