Weekday Childcare Teacher
Part time- Seasonal (Fall & Spring) Tuesdays 8:45-11:45 and/or Thursdays 8:45-11:45 Opportunities for additional hours Compensation: $16.50 an hour
Job Description
To ensure the safety and well-being of each child by responding to their emotional, social and physical needs. To be a positive role model for all staff, parents and children.
Duties
- Share Christ's love with the children in a nurturing, safe, fun environment
- Engage children in activities and stimulating play
- Manage classroom with positive feedback, encouragement, and re-direction
- Teach provided bible lesson and assist children with craft
- Supervise snack and playground time
- Assist children with restroom use, hand washing, diaper changing
- Professionally communicate with parents
- Maintain a clean, organized environment
- Be punctual and have minimal absences
Qualifications
A Christian who loves Jesus and desires to serve Him at all times Have a warm and friendly personality, be sensitive to the feelings and needs of others, able to relate well with children Clear Live Scan and Criminal Background Willing to complete Mandated Reporting Training Be mentally and physically capable of caring for a group of children
