Assembly Level IV Production LeadThe role of the Assembly Level IV Production Lead will be to provide hourly front line floor leadership support to Assembly and Packaging departments which includes guidance of assembly operators in the areas of safety/5S, quality, training and problem solving/troubleshooting.Principle duties and responsibilities include:Oversee and guide a team environment, helping other operators perform routine assembly duties within an allotted cycle timeAbility to become certified on all Assembly and Packing positions (Levels I – IV)Understand, follow, and guide others with plant safety rules including safe lifting practices and safe machine operation.Maintain and guide others with all quality requirements in accordance with company standards and responsible for reporting all quality defects.Maintain and guide others utilizing 5S in the work area and look for continuous improvement opportunitiesAbility to motivate production team to achieve daily goalsQualifications:High School Diploma or GEDManufacturing Coursework preferred1-2 years of previous manufacturing experience in assembly environment preferredAbility to read, write and interpret general documents such as Job Detail Sheets, manuals, etcAbility to effectively and professionally communicate in verbal and written form to fellow team members, team leaders and supervisorsAbility to meet production line rate
