Today, Shamin Hotels stands as a testament to their legacy, having grown into the largest hotel owner and operator in Virginia, with over 70 hotels spanning multiple states.Essential Job Functions:Performs all audit procedures as set forth by the hotel and company, on a daily basis.Performs and attributes all required audit reports.Verifies the status of all wake-up call requests and ensures they are properly handled.Balances all cash receipts and work performed during the audit shift.Prepares the front office for the 'A' shift and reset days business.Acts as a guest service representative during the night time hours.Acts as the manager on duty during the night time hours.Attends and actively participates in all front office meetings.Participates in all training and cross training programs.Acts as PBX operator during the audit shift.Assists breakfast attendants by setting up breakfast areas as needed.Performs other related duties as required.Takes the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.Reports to work for scheduled shifts, on time and in uniform in accordance with company policy.Knows and complies with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its duties.Top Requirements:Team Up: Be Golden, Collaborate and Help Others Succeed.Own It: Be a Role Model, Embrace Responsibility and Keep Learning.Passionately Serve: Be Positive, Care Deeply and Create Memories.Qualifications:High school diploma, GED certification or equivalent experience preferred.Bachelor's Degree, and/or equivalent experience in a hotel or related field preferred.Must have basic reading, writing, and math skills.1-2 years of hotel front desk or night auditor experience preferredCustomer service skills required.Financial management skills required.Brand systems knowledge preferred
