Job Duties
nThe Interventional Radiology Technologist works directly with radiologists, nurses, and radiology technologists during vascular/interventional and neuroradiology procedures. You will join a busy IR department in our Level I trauma center, with a supportive team, and complex and interesting work. You will be expected to make quick decisions and work independently, and be knowledgeable in inventory and use of many guide wires, catheters, balloons, and stents. This position doesn't require a call commitment and comes with an additional $16.25/hour weekend differential.
nWork Schedule:
n8:30 a.m.-7:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday
nRequired Qualifications:
nCompletion of a JRCERT-accredited program of Radiologic Technology or the ARRT-approved equivalent.
nRegistration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists on or before the first day of employment.
nBLS certification from an AHA- or ARC-sponsored program on or before the first day of employment.
nLive within a 30-minute call back time of Regions Hospital.
nPreferred Qualifications:
nOne year of interventional radiology experience.
