The Division of Hospital Medicine of the Mount Sinai Health System is seeking per diem weekend hospitalists and part-time hospitalists to care for patients admitted to the Medical Service across several Manhattan and Queens locations. Providers will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while collaborating with multi-specialty colleagues and participating in departmental clinical, educational, and research efforts. This role offers an engaging opportunity to enhance patient safety and quality of care within a nationally recognized academic medical system.
Practice Info
- Care for patients admitted to the Medical Service at Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan, Mount Sinai St. Lukes, Mount Sinai West, and Mount Sinai Queens hospitals
- Weekend coverage of patients admitted to the Department of Medicine
- Dedicated support staff
Responsibilities
- Complete daily rotations
- Accept care of critical patients from outside emergency personnel
- Diagnose patients and develop treatment plans
- Order diagnostic tests
- Accurately document care provided
- Share care responsibilities and coverage with other team members
- Collaborate with multi-specialty practice colleagues as an integral part of a health system
Compensation
- Compensation range from $18,000 to $80,000 (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)

Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited university
- New York State medical license
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine
