Before they can even build reports, will need to import the data, organize it in the database, and extract transform and load it into a warehouse for analytics/reporting. This person will have a hand in the whole process.
The data comes in through downstream functions, they'll need to play some role (20%) as needed in the data modeling into Star/Snowflake schemas, OLAP/OLTP models, etc to organize it in the database. From there an Informatica) picks it up, extracts it, and then transforms it into a uniform data form, and loads it into a data warehouse. Finally, they will use WebFOCUS and Tableau to generate the reports for business teams to utilize/draw insights from.Responsibilities Breakdown:50% WebFOCUS, 30% ETL (Informatica), 20% Database EngineeringPrimary Job Duties:You will primarily be responsible for creating BI reports and visualizations in WebFOCUS, Tableau, and OBIEESecondary Job Duties:You will do Informatica-driven ETL and some basic database developmentYou will be responsible for some of the analytics, modeling, and schema buildingYou will use ETL (Informatica) to prepare data for the final WebFOCUS and Tableau reportingRequired Skills : WebFocus (5+ years); Informatica (4+ years); SQL (4+ years)Basic Qualification : Additional Skills : Very few onsite requirements.
Contract is 12-months with strong probability for contract extension based on candidate's performance.
