Web Systems Engineer
Location: SF, CA or Charlotte, NC Duration: 2-year contract
Job Description: We have an amazing opportunity that Web Systems Engineers will want to hear about! Our San Francisco, CA Bay Area (And East Coast Positions Avail) client is looking for a talented engineer to work on PRE-production monitoring and automation/web development/and performance tuning. YOU MUST HAVE hands on experience with monitoring tools. There will be immense hands-on experience for web development and new tools for production. You will work with documentation, designing, implementation, and solutions with use of tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk, Perl, Bash, and Python. Collaborate at a high level with business development partners for production monitoring, technical specifications, and Java development/testing for production. Requirements:
- Advanced Unix experience in production and/or preproduction support environment. 5+ years of experience in web systems, scripting, and automation. High level experience with installation, configuration, and implementation of middleware server installations - working within the Red Hat Linux/Unix administration.
- Hands on AppDynamics Experience.
- Demonstrated experience in production support, and advanced use of tools such as Bash, PowerShell, Python, Shell, Unix Shell Scripting, Perl, Java, Pl-SQL, VBScript, or JavaScript.
- Professional experience with Red Hat Linux, Unix Server systems administrative.
- Efficient communication skills, ability to participate in team reviews, ability to adhere to standards, and collaborate professionally.
