Web Research Analyst

Role & responsibilities

• Design challenging web research problems for AI browsing agents.


• Work backwards from verifiable facts to create complex, well-constrained research questions.


• Conduct in-depth research across websites, databases, archives, records, and PDF documents.


• Build complete, auditable evidence trails with precise sources, pages, tables, and sections.


• Validate findings through multiple searches and document the research process and results.

Preferred candidate profile

• 3+ years of experience in web research, investigative research, OSINT, fact-checking, or related fields.


• Strong open-web research and sourcing skills with excellent attention to detail.


• Experience with LLM evaluation, red‑team​ing, benchmark creation, or similar research work.


• Excellent written English and ability to research unfamiliar topics independently.


• Comfortable with structured documentation and evidence‑based research.
