Web Press OperatorThe Web Press Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining web press equipment to produce high-quality printed materials that meet or exceed customer expectations. This role supports daily press operations, ensures product quality, and works collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.Key responsibilities include:Operating assigned web press equipment to meet production and quality standardsSupporting daily press operations and assisting with team coordination as neededReviewing job specifications and preparing press for production runsMonitoring print quality throughout production including trims, alignment, folds, ink density, color accuracy, and clarityIdentifying and correcting quality issues in a timely manner to minimize waste and reworkPerforming routine and basic maintenance on press equipment; escalating issues when neededFollowing all safety procedures and identifying potential hazards or risks in the workplaceAccurately documenting production data, job details, and performance metricsWorking cross-functionally with production, quality, and customer service teamsContributing to continuous improvement and Lean initiativesQualifications include:Minimum of 2+ years of web press experience in a manufacturing or print environmentHigh school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferredStrong understanding of the print process from prepress through productionAbility to read and interpret job tickets, safety rules, and operating proceduresStrong attention to detail with a focus on print and color qualityBasic computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office is a plusStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to work in a fast-paced production environmentPhysical and work environment requirements include:Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasksAbility to lift up to 50 lbs as neededComfortable working in a production environment with noise, ink, and chemicalsRequired use of PPE at all times$24 - $29 an hour
