Web Press OperatorThe Web Press Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining web press equipment to produce high-quality printed materials that meet or exceed customer expectations. This role supports daily press operations, ensures product quality, and works collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.Operate assigned web press equipment to meet production and quality standardsSupport daily press operations and assist with team coordination as neededReview job specifications and prepare press for production runsMonitor print quality throughout production including trims, alignment, folds, ink density, color accuracy, and clarityIdentify and correct quality issues in a timely manner to minimize waste and reworkPerform routine and basic maintenance on press equipment; escalate issues when neededFollow all safety procedures and identify potential hazards or risks in the workplaceAccurately document production data, job details, and performance metricsWork cross-functionally with production, quality, and customer service teamsContribute to continuous improvement and Lean initiativesMinimum of 2+ years of web press experience in a manufacturing or print environmentHigh school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferredStrong understanding of the print process from prepress through productionAbility to read and interpret job tickets, safety rules, and operating proceduresStrong attention to detail with a focus on print and color qualityBasic computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office is a plusStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to work in a fast-paced production environmentAbility to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasksAbility to lift up to 50 lbs as neededComfortable working in a production environment with noise, ink, and chemicalsRequired use of PPE at all times$24 - $29 an hour
