Web Designer

Join our engineering team in Corona and help us scale systems that handle traffic from across CA and beyond. If you have 5 years in technology, this part-time job offers $106,000 - $144,000 plus the room to lead and grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Wire MySQL APIs to PHP consumers so data lands where Corona teams expect it
• Defend Community Impact Foundation uptime through the 2 a.m. Corona pages nobody volunteers for
• Build internal tooling that improves developer productivity and velocity
• Write clean, well-tested code that scales with Community Impact Foundation's growing user base
• Re-architect the technology flow so PHP handles ten times Corona's current load
• Reach into legacy Swift modules and leave them cleaner than you found them
• Decide when to buy Cross-Functional Collaboration versus build it for Community Impact Foundation's Corona, CA stack

What You'll Bring

• Mid-level-caliber judgment about when to elevate and when to absorb
• Slow-to-anger problem-solving that doesn't wait for permission
• A bias toward asking the dumb question before the expensive mistake
• An appetite for ownership that scales with the stakes

Equal parts laboratory and workshop, Community Impact Foundation builds steady-handed technology products that hold up far beyond the borders of Corona, CA. Politics die fast at Community Impact Foundation because we put the awkward stuff on the table early.

In return for your Cross-Functional Collaboration expertise, you'll earn $106,000 - $144,000 along with 401(k) matching and flexible remote options.
