Position Overview
The Web Coordinator supports the Member Content Strategy team by maintaining the ASPCA website and building integrated campaign content. This remote-based role collaborates closely with the Director of Membership, Development teams, and other departments to align content with fundraising and cultivation objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Website Production (50%):
- Post provided content to the website via CMS, including forms, blog posts, press releases, articles, and page updates.
- Provide image cropping and basic photo editing as needed.
- Edit HTML/CSS source code when required.
- Conduct full quality‑assurance testing of posted content.
- For online forms, QA submission process to ensure data maps correctly to the CRM system.
- Recommend content or functionality optimizations.
- Follow internal workflow to review, revise, and launch content timely.
- Technical Website Assistance (30%):
- Participate in weekly status calls with website vendor.
- Maintain ticketing system, post tickets for bugs, troubleshoot issues.
- Assist QA of website features, modules, and release updates.
- Field website update requests from other teams.
- Collaborate to identify update and implementation needs.
- Email & SMS Campaigns (20%):
- Build campaigns in marketing platforms based on content and direction.
- Participate in fundraising strategy meetings and provide functionality recommendations.
- QA email and SMS campaigns across devices and providers.
- Score and test email subject lines for deliverability and performance.
- Send test emails/SMS, gather revisions, ensure content reviewed and approved.
- Schedule and monitor campaign sends to ensure delivery completion.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required.
- Minimum of 2 years of web development experience.
- Experience with CMS beyond basic editing (Drupal required).
- Experience building emails and SMS in marketing platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred).
- Ability to write HTML/CSS; familiarity with JavaScript/JS and SQL.
- Experience with a ticketing system.
- Experience presenting to diverse audiences.
- Basic image cropping/editing in Photoshop or similar (preferred).
