nAs a Water/Wastewater Treatment Engineer in RH2's Treatment Group, you will collaborate with a team of experienced professionals working on meaningful public infrastructure projects that improve water and wastewater treatment systems. nWhat You Will Do:

- Apply your engineering education to real-world challenges while receiving mentorship and training from experienced engineers n
- Gather data and support technical analysis for planning, design, and construction of municipal infrastructure projects n
- Perform design calculations, assist in report development, and prepare design plans for construction n
- Participate in field visits and construction observations with guidance from your project team n
- Revise reports, plans, and visual materials based on feedback from your supervisor n
- Gain hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other specialized software n
- Support projects involving public water and wastewater infrastructure n
- Work across offices and disciplines to contribute to multi-office project teams n
- Engage in a supportive team culture that encourages asking questions, solving problems, and growing professionally n
What You Will Bring:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program n
- Strong academic record, and demonstrated intellectual curiosity preferred n
- Internship or co-op experience in the engineering or public works industry is a plus n
- Motivation to learn, adapt, and contribute across a variety of project types n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy n
- Organized, responsive, and able to balance multiple responsibilities in a team environment n
- Genuine interest in public sector infrastructure design and community-focused solutions n
Certificates, Licenses, or Registrations:

- EIT certification within 1 year required; completed EIT preferred n
- Desire to pursue PE licensure within 4–5 years n
Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) n
- Familiarity with AutoCAD is a plus but not required n
- Experience with PDF editing tools is helpful but not required n
Compensation:
n- n
- Hourly rate starts around $37/hour and will vary based on experience and qualifications n
- Overtime (time and a half) is paid for hours exceeding 40 per week n
