Water/Wastewater Operator, Johnstown, PAThe EADS Group in Johnstown, PA is seeking a full-time Water/Wastewater Operator to join our multi-disciplined engineering firm!Great pay and excellent benefits including:401kHealthcareDentalVisionPaid time offPaid holidaysCompany paid life insuranceAFLACYour new role as our Water/Wastewater Operator will involve performing a variety of skilled technical and maintenance work in the operation, maintenance and repair of water and wastewater treatment facilities and systems.You will play a key role in maintenance of treatment plants while providing guidance to Water/Wastewater Operators-In-Training. From monitoring performance equipment to collecting samples in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations, you will lead by example and provide guidance in special circumstances such as collecting and disposing of hazardous waste and samples. Throughout the day, you will evaluate results for accuracy and work to communicate findings to clients, other field staff, and to the operations department manager.

By day's end, you've played a key role in ensuring proper maintenance and smooth running of water and wastewater facilities.Preferred qualifications for our Water/Wastewater Operator include:High School Diploma or equivalentCurrent and valid Pennsylvania Water, Wastewater, Collections, and/or Distribution licenseValid PA Driver's License and the ability to pass a background check if requiredKnowledge and ability to operate vehicles, tools, power equipment, and handheld devicesPossess strong verbal and written communication skills, math skills, as well as leadership traitsMust be willing to work outdoors and be physically able to do field workWilling to work outside of typical business hours when required to do so including nights, weekends and holidays and periodically be available by cell phone and able to work when directed to be "on-call" by his/her supervisorA little about us:At The EADS Group in Johnstown, PA, we're a dedicated team of professionals committed to delivering top-tier engineering, architectural, and environmental solutions.
