Water/Wastewater Process EngineerFarnsworth Group is seeking a Water/Wastewater Process Engineer in one of the posting locations below. We are searching for a candidate with a solid technical background, a strong sense of project ownership, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment. Work will include planning studies, hydraulic modeling, design, permitting, funding assistance, and construction of water and wastewater projects. Posting Location(s): Normal, IL, Peoria, IL, Champaign, IL, or St. Louis, MOWhat You'll Do:Manage and design a variety of water and wastewater projects from planning through design, permitting, and constructionDesign water transmission and distribution systemsWork directly with clients and a multi-disciplinary design team to manage projectsAssist with business development activities and preparation of proposalsPlanning studies and reports for the evaluation of project alternatives and condition assessmentsModeling for water and sanitary sewer systemsBooster pump station and lift station designInvolvement with regulatory strategies and negotiations with permittingWhat You'll Need:BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering; Master's degree preferred8 - 15 years of Water/Wastewater Process Engineering experienceProfessional Engineer – PE LicensePassion for water and wastewater engineeringStrong project management, communication, and organizational skillsUnderstanding of chemistry and biology for treatment processesTeam player who can manage and contribute to multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience with water and/or wastewater modeling software such as WaterCAD, InfoWater, EPANET, GPSx preferredJoin Farnsworth Group, a nationally recognized architectural, engineering, and surveying firm, where your career can thrive!
