We are seeking dedicated, service-oriented professionals who share our passion for helping people through their most difficult moments.Position SummaryThe Water Damage Restoration Technician plays a critical role in delivering high-quality restoration services to residential and commercial clients affected by water damage. Working under the direction of the Crew Chief, this technician performs water extraction, structural drying, equipment setup and monitoring, demolition of damaged materials, and mold mitigation tasks — all in accordance with Our Client's production guidelines and IICRC industry standards. This is a hands-on, field-based position that requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to excellent customer service.Key ResponsibilitiesEmergency Response & ProductionRespond promptly to emergency water damage service calls as assigned, adhering to the 1-4-8 job response standardPerform water extraction, structural drying, dehumidification, and applied structural drying per Our Client production guidelinesSet up, monitor, and break down drying equipment including air movers, dehumidifiers, and specialty equipmentPerform controlled demolition of water-damaged building materials including drywall, flooring, and insulation as requiredIdentify and address mold and microbial growth using approved remediation proceduresPrepare rooms and staging areas before, during, and after each projectLeave each jobsite clean, orderly, and in professional condition upon completionCustomer Service & CommunicationMaintain clear, respectful two-way communication with the Crew Chief and fellow technicians throughout all projectsCommunicate proactively with customers to explain the restoration process, address concerns, and set expectationsReport any customer complaints, property concerns, or scope changes to the Crew Chief immediatelyRepresent Our Client professionally at all times, demonstrating empathy and professionalism to customers in stressful situationsEquipment, Vehicle & Facility MaintenanceInventory and load the work vehicle with all equipment, products, and supplies required for each projectMaintain a clean, organized, and road-ready vehicle at all timesInspect, clean, and disinfect equipment regularly; report damage or malfunctions promptlyComplete daily, weekly, and monthly vehicle and equipment maintenance checklists as assignedAssist in maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse, office, and groundsSafety & ComplianceUnderstand and follow all safety and risk management guidelines on the jobsite, in the office, and while travelingComply with all safety policies outlined in the Our Client's Safety ManualProperly utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) including respirators, gloves, and protective suits when requiredInstall and remove containment systems properly to protect unaffected areas of the propertyHandle hazardous materials and biohazard situations in accordance with OSHA standards and company protocolsQualificationsRequiredHigh school diploma or GEDValid driver's license with a clean driving recordAbility to lift, carry, and move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs regularlyPhysical fitness to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach for extended periodsAbility to work in confined spaces, high heat, humidity, cold conditions, and environments with debris, mold, or water damageStrong communication, listening, and interpersonal skillsSelf-motivated, dependable, and able to work with minimal supervisionComfortable working in challenging, fast-paced, and sometimes physically demanding environmentsAbility to be on call for emergency response as requiredPreferredIICRC certification in Water Damage Restoration (WRT), Applied Structural Drying (ASD), or Applied Microbial Remediation (AMRT) — or willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe after hirePrior experience in water/fire/mold restoration, construction, or a related fieldExperience operating restoration equipment such as air movers, dehumidifiers, moisture meters, and thermal imaging camerasKnowledge of carpentry, construction, or building systemsBilingual skills a plusWhat We OfferCompetitive pay rate commensurate with experienceComprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchingCompany-provided uniforms and personal protective equipmentPaid training and IICRC certification supportClear career progression path — from Technician to Crew Chief to Project Manager and beyondA supportive, team-oriented work culture built on fairness, mutual respect, and community serviceWork Environment & Physical DemandsThis position requires regular fieldwork at residential and commercial job sites throughout the King of Prussia and Greater Philadelphia area.

Technicians will encounter a wide range of environmental conditions including water-damaged structures, elevated temperatures or humidity, and sites with mold or biohazard materials.
