Water Resources - Senior Project ManagerLocation: Chantilly, VAWe are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead and grow a Water Resources practice, overseeing a diverse portfolio of projects across public and private sectors. This role combines technical expertise, team leadership, and client management to deliver high-quality water resources solutions.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage water resources projects, including stormwater management, floodplain analysis, and dam-related workPerform QA/QC on design documents, models, reports, and permit applicationsReview hydrologic and hydraulic models (e.g., HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS)Oversee project schedules, budgets, and deliverables across multiple assignmentsManage and mentor project teams, including engineers and junior staffCoordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams to secure approvalsSupport contract management, including proposals, billing, and client communicationsContribute to process improvements and overall practice growthRequirements10+ years of experience in water resources engineeringBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related fieldProfessional Engineer (PE) license (VA required; multi-state preferred)Strong experience in stormwater, floodplain, and/or dam design and permittingProficiency with H&H modeling tools (HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, etc.)Proven experience managing projects, teams, and client relationshipsStrong communication, organization, and analytical skills
