Water Project Manager - ConnecticutWright-Pierce, an award-winning, multi-discipline environmental engineering firm specializing in water, wastewater, and civil infrastructure, is seeking a licensed Water Project Manager to join our Water team in Middletown, CT. This role manages and executes a variety of municipal water and wastewater projects in Connecticut and throughout New England.ResponsibilitiesManagement, oversight, execution of a variety of municipal water and wastewater projects.Technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating small-to-mid-scale projects.Performing portions of large or complex multi-disciplinary projects.Applying intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices.Identifying opportunities to enhance organization's standards and delivery of services.Preparing proposals and scopes of work.Managing and mentoring junior-level staff.Performing research assignments, pilot studies as needed.Participating in water/wastewater industry professional organizations.Essential FunctionsEffective written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrate initiative and effective problem-solving skillsPersonal organization and time management skillsProduce assignments on time and on budgetBuild strong relationships with coworkersCollaborate with others to capitalize on Company's collective capabilitiesEffective client relationship skillsExceptional proposal generation skillsExcellent attention to detailExperience10 years of experience executing a variety of municipal and industrial drinking water and wastewater projectsExperience with multi-discipline project teamsMS Office + Bluebeam proficiencyCertificationsLicensed Professional EngineerEducationB.S.
