Location- Blue Springs, MS
1st Shift - Full Time Monday to Wednesday - Saturday and Sunday - 6am to 2:30pm
2nd Shift - Full Time Monday to Wednesday - 2:30pm to 11pm
Saturday and Sunday - 9am to 5:30pm - Shift times vary depending on customer needs
Pay - $15.50/hr
Job Description:
Team Member must be able to withstand the back thrust of high pressure blasting equipment and must weigh at least 170 lbs. TM will be operating high pressure (up to 40,000 psi) water blasting, pipe lancing and/or mowing equipment.. This includes, but is not limited to, blasting of dollies, skids and/or carriers; grate blasting; and pressure washing structural steel and tanks. TM will be required to wear PPE including metatarsal boots, rain suit, shin guards, hard hat, safety glasses, face shield, chemical gloves, anti-vibration gloves, ear plugs, and ear muffs (all provided by MacLellan). Blasting candidate will go through extensive equipment and use training prior to blasting. TM will participate in lockout/tagout; climb ladders; hang plastic; hook up equipment; conduct pre- and post-operational inspections. TM may be required to perform other cleaning activities as needed to complete the work and meet customer requirements.
Skills/Experience:
Applicant must be able to safely work in a high paced industrial environment; have a general understanding of industrial safety practices; perform equipment inspections; be mechanically inclined. Previous industrial experience is preferred. Must be able to work in hot and damp environments.
