OperatorWeston & Sampson Services is currently looking for an Operator to support operations and maintenance out of our North Charleston, SC location.What you'll do:Operation and maintenance of a water distribution system, a water treatment plant and a biological wastewater treatment plantReading meters and gaugesCollecting field readings and samples of water and wastewaterMonitoring and observing operating conditions and adjusting process controls as necessaryTroubleshooting of plant equipment and performing minor maintenance as necessaryCollecting samples and performing routine lab testsMaintaining compliance with all regulatory and safety requirementsGeneral housekeeping at facilitiesMaintaining accurate records of operations and maintenance activitiesCompiling monthly data for compliance reportingWhat you will bring:A high school diploma or equivalent is required4 years of wastewater operation experienceA South Carolina Class D Water Treatment Operator license requiredA South Carolina Class C Biological Wastewater Treatment Operator license requiredA South Carolina System Operator LicenseFamiliarity with computers in a Windows based environmentMust be able to work outdoors in all climates, climb ladders and lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.Good written and verbal communication skillsValid driver's license
