This is a TEMP TO HIRE position:

- Employee will be monitoring a computer to make sure the pumps are correctly running that is putting manure into the tanks for a methane plant.
- Running valves and compressors
- Forklift or skid steer experience is preferred
- Employee will be up in a lift to check on the tanks.
- Will take pumps apart and put them back together.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and social regulations for all on-site personnel.
- Collaborate with the assistant manager to improve plant operations by researching technology, processes, and plant performance reactions.
- Monitor, maintain, and operate the anaerobic digester, manure feedstock preparation, RNG upgrader, and supporting equipment through operational adjustments, maintenance, and analysis.
- Prepare and submit weekly reports on production, operational trends, and plant availability to the Plant Manager and senior management.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable facility at all times.
- Perform laboratory work, record process data, and make informed process control decisions.
- Manage and coordinate vendor and contractor work, including assisting with deliveries and overseeing their activities.
- Maintain inventory and proper storage of spare parts and operating supplies.
- Manage the budget, ensuring adherence to accounting practices.
Schedule:
shifts
Thursday-Saturday + every other Wednesday
Sunday-Wednesday + every other Thursday
Day shift is 6am -6pm
Graveyard is 6pm-6am
Pay:
$19/hr-$24

Requirements:
- Mechanical background (preferred)
- Experience working with pumps, wastewater, hydraulics etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical fundamentals, including troubleshooting.
- Ability to think critically and take pride in ownership of work.
- High School Diploma or GED required. (desirable)
- Familiarity with PLC/SCADA control systems. (desirable)
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel). (desirable)
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Flexibility to provide 'on call' support and adapt to varied schedules.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a physical exam and aptitude test.
