Waste Processing Technician I (WPTI)Waste Processing Technician I (WPTI) is an entry-level position within the Sustainable Site Solutions division of Reworld. The WPTI is responsible for the collection and processing of waste material from their client's facility. The WPTI takes their direction from the Project Manager when applicable.
The WPTI will utilize various forms of machinery to perform their everyday tasks, including forklifts, compactors, and balers. This position will handle various types of waste during their daily routine and is expected to be safety conscious and understand the correct PPE to utilize during their tasks.Responsibilities:Operate heavy equipment such as fork trucks, balers, compactors, etc.Process waste materials into like commodities or in accordance with vendor specificationsGeneral housekeeping. The range below reflects Reworld's reasonable estimate of base pay for this role based on primary posting location. It is expected that most qualified candidates in this location will fall within the posting range. The final salary offered for this role will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to: experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements and/or union contracts (if applicable).
Pay ranges are reviewed from time to time and may be modified in the future.The pay range for the primary location of this position is: 17.12 - 22.74 USD per hour
